Surry Hills eatery 4Fourteen opened its doors in 2012, under the guidance of Colin Fassnidge and Joe Saleh. The rowdier, younger sister of Paddington’s Four in Hand, 4Fourteen is an urban-inspired warehouse conversion, featuring original timbers, recycled furnishings and an open kitchen. 4Fourteen has become a neighbourhood fixture, where you can either hunker down for a long lunch, have a quiet wine and a nibble, or sit at the chef’s bar and watch the theatre of the kitchen unfold.
The Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide’s Terry Durack described 4Fourteen as “interactive, collusive, fast-moving and fun”. It received its first Hat just weeks after it opened its doors.
With a menu focused on sharing, 4Fourteen follows the philosophy of ‘nose to tail’ and uses only the freshest and most sustainable ingredients. Our produce is sourced locally to create unique dishes, served to you by friendly and knowledgeable staff, aiming to offer you a quintessential dining experience.
